Have you ever stopped yourself from doing something you really wanted to do because you were worried about what other people would think? 🙋♀️ . I used to be be plagued with worry and anxiety over what others think. I was a people pleaser and cared wayyy too much about what others thought. Even to my own dismay. . Then I heard someone tell me how when you’re in you 20s and 30s, you worry so much about what everyone else thinks. Then when you’re in your 40s and 50s, you quit caring about what everyone else thinks. But once you hit your 60s, you realize no one was thinking about you all along because they were too busy worrying about themselves. . I am so grateful for that piece of wisdom because it completely changed my perspective and got rid of the anxiety and worry. I started doing things that I wanted. I followed my heart, even if it went against what others would have chosen for me. Taking this approach has never let me down. . Trust yourself. Lean on your own inner guidance and filter out the noise around you. Remember, everyone else is too busy worry about themselves. Stand with confidence and just do you!
