🔽Hawaiian pizza : THE BEST! The crust was light and thin, cooked perfectly. Topped with chicken, black olives, sausages and pineapples, this pizza stole my heart!

🔽Porcini steak : char boiled tenderloin beefsteak with an amazingly flavorful porcini sauce, sauteed veggies, mashed potatoes( my must sideline) and beetroot puree was a feast for the eyes! The cook on the steak was medium well and it was perfect, with all this going on the steak somehow itself was a little under seasoned but taking all the other things combined, it was a job pretty well done!

The only thing that ruined my night was that they did not have baby seats 😭 and throughout the dinner we kept on juggling the baby, that was a bummer for me!

ALBORZ is a persian restaurant in karachi, it has a really cool and modern touch to the ambiance , but a slight Persian touch in the sitting area could have made it even better. Talking of music, Himesh reshamiya is the last voice I'd want to listen to, the next time I visit. The starters were presented spectacularly, the chicken sticks were delicious. The crispy, golden Dynamite prawns did well despite my low expectations, except the dip sauce that was bland. . Lamb chops, as always, were a treat to the eyes first. The masala's flavour was spot on. However they felt slightly undercooked and therefore chewy. . Chullu kabab just could not get any better. Had to be one of the best on a 'persian menu'. . Dizzi was an experimental dish for us. Had to mash it with a pestle that added a DIY touch to the experience. . Chullu mahi, again as the name speaks of the persian flavor, were perfect as one would expected them to be. . A few days ago i ordered a cake with @cakevalley.pk in lahore which was to be delivered to a friend, they asked me to send a design and i sent this. Looking at their picture collection i was satisfied that they would do a good job but when i got the picture of the cake from them before delivering, i was shocked! I was like ye kyaaaa haiii..extremely untidy details and it was all buttercream. . . I was angry and asked him why he made a buttercream cake when the reference cake was fondant plus charging me Rs 3000 for a buttercream cake! He offered to change it in an hour into fondant, after an hour i got the same buttercream cake! I had made payment and i wanted the cake at that time, i just asked him to deliver it.. When i discussed it with my friend she was happy with the taste atleast but said that the sponge got watery after a few hours. It was our 2 year anniversary 🎉🎉 and the dinner had to be at someplace amazing, so we decided to go to @officialambrosia! The ambiance was perfect for the occasion! . . Starting of with the complimentary bread basket, the only thing i have to say is that i've had better breads. . . 🔽Hawaiian pizza : THE BEST! The crust was light and thin, cooked perfectly. Topped with chicken, black olives, sausages and pineapples, this pizza stole my heart! . . 🔽Porcini steak : char boiled tenderloin beefsteak with an amazingly flavorful porcini sauce, sauteed veggies, mashed potatoes( my must sideline) and beetroot puree was a feast for the eyes! The cook on the steak was medium well and it was perfect, with all this going on the steak somehow itself was a little under seasoned but taking all the other things combined, it was a job pretty well done! . . 🔽The pina colada was so balanced and refreshing, every sip was like heaven! . . The only thing that ruined my night was that they did not have baby seats 😭 and throughout the dinner we kept on juggling the baby, that was a bummer for me! . . . This trip to lahore has been crazily busy! Had the chance to go to @thericebowlpk, having a great experience at chop chop wok everytime, i was really looking forward to trying the rice bowl as i had heard that the concept is a bit similar. . . Cutting it short! Ordered kung pao chicken, chilli chicken dry, crispy chicken in sweet and sour sauce with rice and chowmein. We asked them to serve the sauces separately so everyone could taste them, the crispy chicken stole the show and the chowmein was also very original and flavorsome! It was time that i tried @nawabsdynastyrestaurantkhi as had been listening about it for a while now. . . Visited the restaurant at lunch tume to try their newly introduced thalis. I ordered their shahi thali which had 4 chicken gravies, rice, roti, masala papad and two gulab jamun to finish off on a sweet note. . . All the Currys were mild spicy and gave a different experience to the palate with a twist in each bowl. The masala papar was crispy and chatpatta! . . Oh! And how could i forget the gulab jamun! Melted on the tongue like candyfloss! . . When i saw the pictures of matka margarita, I was quite excited to try it just because it was margarita in a matka! Packaged between two soft buns, this burger was a hit! . On the other hand, the massive 🍴whisky river beef sandwich felt like the king of sandwich land, featuring two layers of beef patties with lettuce, sundried tomatoes, bbq sauce, grilled onions and american cheddar cheese. Every flavour of the sandwich was spot on! The patty was rivery juicy! The only minus point was that given the size, the sandwich got difficult to handle after the first couple of bites. .
