We all want to reach those goals yesterday... but sometimes... the pay off is in taking a step back, slowing down and nourishing the body💕 #Repost @jozzyfitness ・・・ HORMONE IMBALANCE⁉️ - Let’s take a minute to appreciate what MVPs our bodies are. They can tell us what’s going on with us if we just listen‼️ and I was the one that just kept pushing through, even though my body was shutting down. - It’s hard to talk about for me because I am very cautious about what parts I share about my life, but I am seeing WAY TO MANY women going past the point of “pushing through” and just screwing their bodies over. - I was working out six days a week and doing moderate amounts of cardio for a cut for a shoot. Every check in my body looked like it was holding water, swollen, my face was puffy, and thank god for @teathome because she picked this up right away. The left pic was back in March, my face was clearly puffy, I was holding onto water and stress. The right was taken today 🙌 - School full time, personal stuff, and burning myself out I still kept pushing until I went to see a doc and a naturopath. My cortisol was through the roof, other hormonal imbalances , blood work showed I had hypothyroid , and my acne was OVER THE TOP❌ - I didn’t talk to anyone except for T because I was SOOOO uncomfortable in my own skin. My immediate thought was to keep doing cardio to hopefully get rid of the water, but HEL NO TO THE CARDIO AND WEIGHT! I had to lay off for about 2-3 weeks with yoga, different foods, and REST‼️ - Through meds, my naturopath and @teathome my hormones are in check, I am eating all the food, and now with my training I can maintain and lose weight accordingly as to what I eat, do for cardio etc. No more meds, and having a great relationship with food💕 - I am sharing my story because I see to many girls wanting this quick fix to lose weight , or just start doing 60 mins of cardio everyday😞 THIS LIFESTYLE DOES NOT HAVE TO BE EXTREME! It does take patience , it does take hard work, AND THE RESULTS ARE DIFFERENT FOR EVERYBODY! Please listen to your body, push through those tough workouts and those cardio sessions, but also remember to listen to your body!!
